Two Redmond students to appear in PNB production of ‘Cinderella’

From Feb. 4-13 the Pacific Northwest Ballet will feature two Redmond students in its production of "Cinderella."

From Feb. 4-13 the Pacific Northwest Ballet will feature two Redmond students in its production of “Cinderella.”

Fifth-graders Alexandra Moskalenko of John James Audubon Elementary and Isabella Chavez of Louisa May Alcott Elementary play Clock Child and Bug in the ballet, which was choreographed by Kent Stowell.

“Cinderella” is based on the original French fairy tale and features 50 professional dancers in both dramatic and comedic roles. There will be a live orchestra and more than 100 elaborately detailed costumes set against vast storybook backdrops.
