Your neighborhood one-stop-shop for family fun!

Snap some photos of your afternoon at Grand Ridge Plaza for a chance to win

Running out of ideas for summer fun with your kids?

Snapdoodle Toys can help. The Pickering family loved visiting specialty toy stores so much growing up, they eventually opened their own. Now the kids are grown and there are four Snapdoodles in the Seattle area, including the most recent storefront at Grand Ridge Plaza in the Issaquah Highlands.

“Small things like sidewalk chalk and bubbles have been wildly popular!” says Rob Pickering, owner of Snapdoodle Toys. “Our Kickboard scooters have also been selling like crazy. People are keen to roll around the cul-de-sac while spending more time at home.”

Always willing to go the extra mile for customers, the store is currently offering private, safe shopping before or after regular business hours. Not sure what to get? Ask the knowledgable staff, or try a $10 ‘blind bag’ packed with mystery toys — while supplies last.

A full afternoon of family fun

Looking for more family entertainment? Regal Theatres has new protocols in place to keep employees and customers safe when they re-open. Theatres will be sanitized after each movie, and customers can reduce touch points by using the Regal App to purchase tickets and concessions. Stop by the toy store, grab a bite to eat, then sit down for a show at Regal Issaquah Highlands.

If your school district has opted for remote learning you may not need to buy back-to-school outfits, but that doesn’t mean your kids have stopped growing! Pop into Carter’s or Marshalls before your movie, or buy a treat for yourself at Francesca’s or Jos. A. Bank.
