Singer/songwriter Jim Page will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at Soul Food Books and Cafe, 15778 Redmond Way in downtown Redmond.

Page has been on the scene for more than 20 years and is often cited for his political pieces reminiscent of Woody Guthrie and early Bob Dylan.

The event is free; tips will be gratefully accepted.
