Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 11:35 a.m. in the 7000 block of Old Redmond Road. A victim called the department to report that their unlocked car was prowled and an iPod and jewelry were missing.

Monday, June 6

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 11:40 a.m. in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway. A hotel patron reported that a stereo, sunglasses and a backpack were missing from the car. There were no signs of forced entry.

Sunday, June 5

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 5 p.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street. Officers responded to an altercation inside the library that started when a male and female patron began arguing loudly and the confrontation turned physical. A staff member called 911 and the male struck the staff member with a drink can in the leg. The male admitted to officers that he put the female in a headlock after she “got in his face” and she continued to be disruptive after officers moved her away. The male was arrested for assault.

Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 10:55 p.m. in the 5400 block of 159th Place Northeast. Subjects were trespassing in an unoccupied residence.

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 6:59 a.m. in the 7100 block of 139th Place Northeast.

Thursday, June 2

DUI: Redmond police took a DUI report at 2:41 a.m. in the 7300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. Officers responded to a single-car collision when a car had driven over a curb, onto a median and struck a concrete pad. One male in the backseat was transported to the hospital. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI and was extremely aggressive with officers and medical staff. One female passenger initially pretended to be a bystander, but left her personal items on scene and later admitted to being in the car.

Wednesday, June 1

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 2:04 p.m. in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. Officers assisted a 94-year-old woman whose vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. After shopping inside, she came out to find her car was missing. After extensively searching the area and not finding it, officers drove the resident back to her home.
