Local author Cynthia Morrow will present her newest novel “Domestic Violins” at 4 p.m. on Sunday at McDonald’s Book Exchange, located at 16210 N.E. 80th St. in Redmond.
The story follows Althea Stewart, who hosts a memorial luncheon that erupts into a full-scale riot and leaves a dead chef in its wake. Everyone wants to know who killed him — including Interpol and the Russian Mob. The public is invited to hear more about this murder-mystery novel, which is set in Kirkland.
Morrow earned a degree in violin performance from New England Conservatory of Music, a master’s degree in psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles and a doctorate in clinical psychology from Ryokan College. She is an award-winning singer/songwriter and composer who teaches violin and viola in Kirkland. “Domestic Violins” is her second book in the Blanchard House Mystery series.
