Award-winning novelist Rash to visit The Overlake School

Students at The Overlake School will learn writing techniques from Ron Rash, award-winning author of “One Foot in Eden,” “Saints at the River,” “The World Made Straight,” “Serena,” “Burning Bright,” “The Cove” and many others, when he comes to campus March 17.

Students at The Overlake School will learn writing techniques from Ron Rash, award-winning author of “One Foot in Eden,” “Saints at the River,” “The World Made Straight,” “Serena,” “Burning Bright,” “The Cove” and many others, when he comes to campus March 17.

In preparation for his visit, upper school students have been reading his short stories in English class this year.

Rash will be holding various writing workshops for upper school students during the day, followed by an evening talk that’s open to the public. The free talk will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Discovery Hall on campus.
