VSI is a nonprofit organization that assists in funding schools in Tanzania. Some of the charity work VSI does is building roofs on top of schools, providing textbooks, desks and scholarships for students to attend school for one year and educating students about HIV/AIDS, among other things. All of the employees working for this organization do not receive a salary and are 100 percent volunteers.
