Bicyclist struck by truck; driver takes off

A bicyclist was struck by a truck Sunday (May 31) at 11:36 a.m. between 40th Street and 150th Avenue Northeast, Redmond police confirmed Monday (June 1).

The driver of the vehicle took off upon hitting the victim. The victim is alive with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Redmond police public information officer Andrea Wolf-Buck confirmed.

The suspect, who remains at large, was driving a maroon GMC Sierra with a grey stripe on the hood. In surveillance footage, the vehicle is shown to be carrying a ladder.
