Tuesday, Sept. 28

DUI: Redmond Police arrested a local resident for driving under the influence in the 10400 block of Avondale Road.

Candid camera: Shoplifting suspects were caught on camera at the Target store in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. Police are investigating the theft.

Graffiti: Graffiti was found on the rear wall of a business in the 16500 block of Northeast 79th Street.

Boat trailer taken: A boat trailer was stolen from a residence in the 17400 block of Northeast 40th Place. There is no suspect information.

Monday, Sept. 27

Burglary: Redmond police responded to a report of a burglary that happened during the day in the 17200 block of Northeast 85th Place.

Stripped car: Sometime during the night in the 15900 block of Bear Creek Parkway, someone cut open the roof of a convertible Honda and stole both seats, the stereo and gear shift knob.

Tresspassing: A 30-year-old man was arrested at around 1:30 a.m. for trespassing in a yard of a residence on the corner of Northeast 83rd Street and 164th Avenue Northeast.

Sunday, Sept. 26

Grass dumping: Someone dumped three bags of fresh cut grass into the dumpster of a store in the 15700 block of Redmond Way.

Vader catches car prowler: Vader, the Redmond police K-9, tracked and found a car prowl suspect after he smashed the window of a vehicle in the 16900 block and stole some items.

Saturday, Sept. 25

Domestic violence: A 31-year-old man was arrested at around 3 a.m. for domestic assault after Redmond police responded to an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Avondale Road.

Attempted theft: Someone tried to steal a vehicle in the 14800 block of Redmond Way during the night. The vehicle was not stolen, but the ignition was damaged.

Friday, Sept. 24

Bee killer: Redmond police responded to a report by the Redmond Fire Department at around 10 p.m. that there was an unfamiliar chemical on the ground at a business in the 16700 block of Cleveland Street. The chemical was smoking and created a cloud around the area. The owner of the store showed up and told police that he had put the chemicals on the ground to kill a bee hive.

Terrible texts: A man who lives in the 15600 block of Northeast 40th Street reported that he was receiving harassing text messages from his father.

Car prowls: There were three different car prowls reported in the 15300 block of Redmond Way where the vehicles’ windows were smashed and items were stolen.
