Wednesday, June 30

Shoplifting: Police arrested a man for shoplifting at a grocery store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.

Quit calling: A resident in the 13700 block of Northeast 74th Street reported receiving continuous and unwanted calls from a research company.

Domestic violence: A juvenile male who assaulted his girlfriend was taken into police custody after a disturbance in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street.

Tuesday, June 29

Drugs: Redmond police saw an occupied vehicle in a parking lot of 10400 block of Avondale Road at around 1:30 p.m. Officers questioned the occupant and then found marijuana and paraphernalia.

Car prowls: There were several car prowls, involving unlocked vehicles, reported to Redmond police. There was one reported at midnight in the 7500 block of 146th Avenue Northeast; one at 9 p.m. in the 14800 block of Northeast 77th Circle; one at 8:30 p.m. in the 7000 block of 149th Avenue Northeast; one at 8 p.m. in the 7400 block of 141st Avenue Northeast; and one at 7:40 p.m. in the 7400 block of 141st Avenue. These are the car prowls that involved unlocked vehicles, according to the police report.

Monday, June 28

Theft: Redmond police arrested a 33-year-old Bellevue man at around 2:30 p.m. for shoplifting at a store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Car prowls: Redmond police investigated two car prowl reports, one in the 7900 block of 146th Avenue Northeast at around 7:15 a.m. and another one in the 11700 block of 132nd Place Northeast at around 2 p.m.

Sunday, June 27

Theft: Redmond police responded to a shoplifting report at around 3 p.m. at the Safeway in the 17200 block of Redmond Way. The suspect was seen on video surveillance, but police were unable to locate the suspect, who dropped the stolen items in front of the door before running away.

Disturbance: A married couple had a loud argument in the 16000 block of Northeast 85th Street at around 1:30 a.m. The argument was reported to Redmond police, but the the couple denied any physical altercation took place.

Theft: Two bicycles were stolen from an apartment bike rack in the 15800 block of Northeast 40th Street.

Friday, June 25

Cell stolen: A woman reported that her cell phone was stolen from a restaurant in the 15900 block of Redmond Way.

Theft: A man reported that his front license plate was stolen from his car in the 17400 block of Northeast 67th Circle.

Thursday, June 24

DUI: A 22-year-old Redmond man was arrested for investigation of DUI after he was involved in a traffic accident in the 15400 block of Northeast 116th Street.

Fraud: A man who lives in the 12100 block of 177th Circle Northeast reported that his ATM card had been used in Chicago.
