CERT training for disaster preparedness begins April 29

A CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Disaster Preparedness Class begins April 29 and runs for eight Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. plus a final drill, at the downtown Redmond Fire Department headquarters, 8540 161st Ave. NE.

A CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Disaster Preparedness Class begins April 29 and runs for eight Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. plus a final drill, at the downtown Redmond Fire Department headquarters, 8540 161st Ave. NE.

Participants will learn about fire suppression, search and rescue and disaster medical care and will participate in a mock disaster drill. The fee is $35 for materials. Space is limited.
