The City of Redmond’s newest edition of www.efocusonredmond.com is now live. This quarterly online news magazine was developed as a companion piece to a smaller, cost-effective quarterly citizen newsletter.

The summer issue feature articles encouraging residents to stay fit and offers a variety of ways Redmond Parks and Recreation can help. In addition, the City’s own Plant Lady, arborist Teresa Kluver, gives video tips on how to become a steward of the city’s urban forests and Bill Campbell and Ron Grant, the city’s public works director and assistant director respectively, give a behind the scenes look at several current road projects.

“Integrating Web and video technology in an electronic magazine is a fun and interesting way for people to get their information what Redmond City government is up to,” stated Patrick Hirsch, the city’s video communications manager. “Over time, we hope to add additional features such as citizen surveys and methods for direct feedback.”
