City seeks to fill two openings on Parks and Trails Commission

The City of Redmond has two openings on the Parks and Trails Commission that must be filled by residents living inside Redmond’s city limits. If you fill these criteria and think Redmond’s parks, recreation and trails are high priorities, you are invited to apply.

The Parks and Trails Commission members advise and make recommendations to the Mayor and City Council concerning acquisition, development and improvements to all park facilities. They also make recommendations and provide input on recreational programming. The commission meets on the first Thursday evening of the month at City Hall. All board and commission members are volunteers.

Applicants must complete a community service application. Applications will continue to be accepted until the vacancies are filled. For more information or to request an application, call the Mayor’s office at (425) 556-2101 or download an application from the city’s Web site, www.redmond.gov.
