Monday, March 11

Burglary: A townhouse in the 17600 block of Northeast 92nd Court on Education Hill was broken into sometime during the day. There is no suspect info at this time.

Vehicle prowls: Officers responded to two vehicle prowl reports from downtown. The first came at 7:45 p.m. In the second report, which came at  9:42 p.m., a backpack containing a laptop and Microsoft Surface was stolen.

Shoplifting: Redmond police investigated a shoplifting report from a business in the 17200 block of Redmond Way downtown at 6:47 p.m.

Thefts: Officers responded to two theft reports. The first came at 12:47 p.m. from a cemetery 7200 block of 180th Avenue Northeast downtown. An unknown suspect had stolen four bronze vases from four headstones. No suspect information was available. At 3:31 p.m., Redmond police investigated the theft of tools from a shipping container at a construction site in the 4500 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway in Overlake.

Counterfeiting: A resident in the 2900 block of 173rd Court Northeast in Overlake reported at 2 p.m. that counterfeit currency was used to purchase his iPad 3 from off of Craigslist.

Sunday, March 10

Missing person found: At 11:02 p.m., Redmond police located a missing person in the 8700 block of 166th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill.

Threats: Redmond police responded to an altercation at Red Hills in the 6000 block of 185th Court Northeast in downtown at 9:02 a.m.

Saturday, March 9

Suspicious circumstance: At 12:44 p.m., officers responded to an attempted entry through the kitchen window into a home in the 14700 block of Northeast 61st Street in Grass Lawn.

Burglary: At 10:07 a.m., Redmond police investigated a burglary at a residence in the 14400 block of Northeast 61st Street in Grass Lawn. Nothing appeared to be missing from the residence.
