Monday, July 6 Shopliftings: Redmond police arrested two adult males and one adult female in two separate shoplifting instances. At 5:54 p.m., a male and female were arrested at a business in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. At 2:44 p.m., a male was arrested at a business in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road and transported to the Issaquah jail facility.

Sunday, July 5

Vandalism: Redmond police responded to a vandalism report at 7:49 p.m. in the 11400 block of 178th Place Northeast. Someone broke a vehicle window.

Malicious mischief: Redmond police arrested an adult male for third-degree malicious mischief and a minor for consuming alcohol at 1:46 a.m. in the 3800 block of 175th Avenue Northeast. The adult was arrested for breaking a vehicle window.

Saturday, July 4

Controlled-substance possession: Redmond police arrested an adult female for possession of a controlled substance at 4:43 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Glue/chemical sniffing: Redmond police responded to an unresponsive adult male in a vehicle at 1:47 p.m. in the 17300 block of Northeast 85th Place. The man was found conscious and alert, and no medical aid was required.

Friday, July 3

Wallet-snatch: Redmond police took a wallet-snatch report at 9:22 p.m. at a business in the 17600 block of Northeast 76th Street. A female’s wallet was stolen from her purse, which was in her shopping cart.

Tip-jar rip-off: Redmond police took a theft report at 10:55 a.m. at an espresso stand in the 8000 block of 161st Avenue Northeast. A female suspect posing as a possible customer placed a fraudulent order at the drive-up window and then drove off with the tip jar.

Thursday, July 2

Theft: Redmond police cited an adult male at 11:27 p.m. and released him after taking merchandise out of a package while working at a business in the 18000 block of Union Hill Road.

Burglary: Redmond police took a non-residential burglary report at 10:04 a.m. in the 16600 block of Redmond Way. A business was burglarized sometime during the night and cash was taken.

Wednesday, July 1

Counterfeiting: Redmond police arrested a subject for attempting to cash a fraudulent check at 12:15 p.m. at a bank in the 2400 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. The subject was booked and released, pending charges.
