Doctor’s case-setting hearing rescheduled

Redmond naturopathic doctor Bruce A. Klein, who pleaded not guilty to charges of count 1 indecent liberties on Aug. 18, had his case-setting hearing on Tuesday rescheduled to Oct. 25 at King County Superior Court, according to the King County Prosecutor's Office.

Klein, 60, is out of custody after posting a $25,000 bond on Aug. 9.

The court issued Redmond police a felony warrant on Aug. 9 and officers arrested Klein at his place of employment, Medical Spa NW, 2555 152nd Ave. N.E. in Redmond, according to Becky Range, Redmond Police Department (RPD) public information officer.

A 29-year-old female victim reported to Redmond police that she was sexually assaulted during an appointment with Klein on June 10, according to a RPD press release and court documents.
