Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 6:02 p.m. in the 18100 block of 95th Street. Someone broke a guest bedroom window of an apartment and stole electronics, a laptop and jewelry.

DUI: Redmond police took a DUI report at 1:36 a.m. in the 11600 block of Avondale Road. An officer noticed an adult male driving erratically and arrested him for DUI.

Monday, Aug. 29

Disagreement: Redmond police responded to a 911 hang-up call at 4:25 p.m. from a homeless camp east of the 8200 block of 154th Avenue Northeast. Transients there were having a disagreement about missing personal items and threats. Officers were unable to locate the two persons named.

Burglary: Redmond police took a burglary report at 7:22 a.m. at a church in the 17000 block of Northeast 40th Court. Someone smashed a rear window, and it is unknown what items may have been taken.

Sunday, Aug. 28

ID theft: Redmond police took an ID-theft report at 4:21 p.m. in the 16100 block of Northeast 44th Court. A victim learned a credit card had been opened in their name in Florida.

Malicious mischief: Redmond police took a malicious-mischief report at 9:09 a.m. in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street. Mailboxes were pried open at an apartment complex.

Saturday, Aug. 27

Trespassing: Redmond police took two trespassing reports at 6:23 p.m. in the 8200 block of 165th Avenue Northeast and at 12:49 p.m. in the 18400 block of Northeast 98th Way. In the first case, officers trespassed a female who was not authorized to be in a counseling center. In the second case, officers responded to an apartment complex when a manager requested that a visitor be trespassed.

Friday, Aug. 26

Brandishing a weapon: Redmond police took a report of someone brandishing a weapon at 9:44 a.m. on Redmond Way. Someone reported a road-rage incident to 911 when a driver reportedly became angry at a driver in another car, drove erratically and brandished a machete while following the other car. Both Kirkland and Redmond police officers responded, as one car followed the other into Kirkland. There were no injuries and the investigation ongoing.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 6:53 a.m. in the 2600 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast.

Thursday, Aug. 25

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report at 6:11 p.m. in the 18100 block of Northeast 31st Street. Someone reportedly stole a box of comics worth $207 from a man’s porch.

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 1:42 p.m. in the 15200 block of Northeast 95th Street. A Redmond business owner reported that his credit card was used to purchase more than $1,800 in items at the Louis Vuitton store in Bellevue.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

Burglary: Redmond police took a burglary report at 4:30 p.m. in the 9400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. Someone entered an apartment window and stole electronics and cash.

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 1:51 p.m. in the 15800 block of Redmond Way. Officers arrested a shoplifter who stole two Steel Reserve beers and shoved a female employee on the way out of the store.
