Sunday, Dec. 11

Fraud: A report came in from the 13400 block of Northeast 69th Way that unknown suspect(s) obtained the victim’s debit card and utilized it for a fraudulent purchases.

Recovered vehicle: Redmond police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 8600 block of 175th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill. There is no suspect information at this time.

Car prowls: There were two reports of car prowls in the Overlake neighborhood. The first came from the 3800 block of 175th Avenue Northeast at 8:45 a.m. Suspect(s) smashed two windows on the victim’s vehicle and stole CDs from the glove box. The second was in the 16400 block of 176th Court Northeast.

Stolen wheels: Redmond police responded to a burglary in progress at a business in the 8400 block of 164th Avenue Northeast downtown. Unknown suspects smashed a window and stole a $7,000 bicycle.

Saturday, Dec. 10

Burglaries: There were two burglary reports on Education Hill. The first was in the 8900 block of 161st Avneue Northeast at 8:09 a.m. An unknown person or persons pried open the back door of a business, cut open a safe and took all of the money in the safe and the till. The second report came at 10:09 a.m. from the 16100 block of Northeast 87th Street. The complainant reported her retail business was burglarized overnight. Suspect(s) pried the rear door to gain entry, then stole cash from an open register. No evidence was located at the scene.

DUI: At 2:18 a.m., a male was arrested for DUI after being stopped for committing a traffic violation in the 15700 block of Redmond Way downtown.

Friday, Dec. 9

Car prowls: There were four reports of car prowls in the Grasslawn neighborhood. The first was at 3:10 p.m. in the 7000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. The other three were also in the 9000 block of Willows Road between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Windows were smashed in two incidents and a purse was stolen in the third incident.

Theft and shoplifting: Redmond police received three reports for theft or shoplifting. The first was at 1:26 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street downtown. At 3:24 p.m., police arrested two female suspects in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Overlake. The third report was at 5:21 p.m. for a theft of a laptop in the 2500 block of 152 Avenue Northeast in Overlake.
