The Redmond Fire Department (RFD) responded to a heavily involved car fire at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Genie Industries Scissor Plant on 185th Avenue Northeast. RFD contained the fire to the engine compartment of a 1997 Mercedes Benz Sedan. No injuries were reported.
