Fireworks are not allowed within Redmond city limits

The City of Redmond Fire Department would like to remind residents that it is unlawful to sell, possess, use or explode fireworks within the city limits (Redmond Municipal Code: 9.26.020).

There are no public fireworks displays planned within the City of Redmond, but the following website has a list of fireworks displays occurring throughout King County.

Residents of Fire District 34 (unincorporated King County) are allowed to use fireworks that are approved by the state of Washington (RCW 70.77.136) and purchased through legal fireworks stands. Fireworks are allowed to be discharged in unincorporated King County only from 9 a.m. to midnight on July 4.
