The fall Northwest Writer’s Retreat will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at South 47 Farm in Redmond. The theme is “A Harvest of Words.”

The day will include creative writing exercises, mini-workshops, an “Ask the Experts” question-and-answer session, and free time on the farm to write or explore the Corn Maze and U-pick fields. Beginning writers are welcome.

Instructors are Christine Dubois, a widely published magazine writer, popular writing teacher, and Communications Director at the South 47 Farm; and Leslie Adkins, a fiction writer and instructor who has written seven novels, five of them mysteries.

The South 47 Farm is located between Woodinville and Redmond at the corner of NE 124th St. and the Woodinville-Redmond Rd.
