The grand opening celebration and community open house for the Evergreen Medical Center in Redmond will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19.

Guests are invited to participate in a symbolic art project that weaves words of hope into a wall hanging. The art pieces will decorate the new facility in Bella Bottega Shopping Center at 8980 161st Ave. NE.

The Evergreen Medical Center will be open seven days a week. It will offer same day-appointments and three levels of care – primary, urgent and emergency. The four-story building includes free parking on the ground floor. Outpatient emergency services will be available 24 hours a day on the second floor. Evergreen Primary Care, a merger of Evergreen Medical Group and Family Medicine of Redmond, will be on the third floor. An Urgent Care Center, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, will be on the fourth floor. There will be an onsite laboratory.

Evergreen Medical Center is backed by the nearby Evergreen Hospital’s full scope of services, including the Level III Trauma Center, Diagnostic Imaging, Lab and Surgical Services.

Children are invited to bring dolls or teddy bears to the community open house for free health checks. There will be other children’s activities, adult blood pressure checks, CPR lessons, and Ask the Expert booths where you can ask brief questions of a health care provider. There will be self-guided tours and light refreshments. The first 1,500 children attending the event will receive free EverBears (teddy bears)

Evergreen Medical Center in Redmond will open for patients Monday, March 21.
