On Jan. 23, Harry Castles Chandler of Redmond died at the age of 88.

Chandler was born on Sept. 13, 1924, and was raised in Boston and settled in Seattle in 1963. He served in the European Theater during World War II as a combat infantryman and shared a successful business with his wife.
