Tuesday, March 15 Got him: At about 7:27 p.m., Redmond police K9 Remy assisted a Medina police officer with catching a DUI suspect in a hit-and-run collision. The male suspect hit a cyclist, then fled into a back yard, where Remy located him hiding in some trees after failing to comply. Remy engaged with his upper right tricep, and the suspect then showed his hands, was handcuffed and arrested.

Reckless endangerment: Redmond police responded to an argument at 5:17 p.m. when a gym valet in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast reported that a construction worker attempted to run him over after being reported to a tow company for parking illegally.

Monday, March 14

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a building at 7:16 p.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street. Someone stole a wallet from a library patron.

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 11:04 a.m. in the 7300 block of 170th Avenue Northeast. An iPhone was stolen from a local gym.

Sunday, March 13

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 11:41 a.m. in the 8300 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. A GPS and laptop were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle from in front of a store at 3:04 a.m. in the 15700 block of Redmond Way.

Saturday, March 12

Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 4:45 p.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street. A trespass letter was issued at the library.

Traffic collision: Redmond police took a traffic-collision report at 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Redmond Way and Northeast 76th Street. It was a reported hit-and-run, injury collision. A teenager was arrested after she ran away from a collision.

Friday, March 11

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 5:45 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 90th Street. The front door was damaged sometime between noon and 5 p.m.

DUI: Redmond police took a DUI report at 12:09 p.m. at the intersection of Redwood Road and Northeast 98th Street. Traffic officers responded when a motorcyclist crashed into a wall and was suspected of DUI.

Thursday, March 10

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 7:02 p.m. in the 6000 block of 137th Avenue Northeast. A car prowl was reported in a condominium community sometime during the night.

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 4:57 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street.

Wednesday, March 9

DUI: Redmond police took a DUI report at 10 p.m. in the 16700 block of Redmond Way. A male was arrested for DUI after hitting a bicyclist, who sustained minor injuries.

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 8:26 a.m. in the 7500 block of 170th Avenue Northeast. The complainant reported a theft from a retail business when someone made a fraudulent return of two juicers.
