Kids join parents at their AT&T jobs in Redmond for a day

About 100 children participated in AT&T’s “Bring Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day” in the company’s Redmond office April 27. The mostly elementary-aged children took a tour of a cell site on wheels, used an “It Can Wait” virtual reality headset to experience first-hand the dangers of distracted driving and were able to play with an app-flown drone.

Addison, 8, said that she learned about why her mom had to work a lot, but said she still thinks “going to school every day is harder.”
