Leadership Eastside board names new officers and directors

The Leadership Eastside (LE) Board of Directors has approved a new slate of officers and directors.

The Leadership Eastside (LE) Board of Directors has approved a new slate of officers and directors.

The new officers are chair Jeni Craswell of Imagine Housing, chair-elect Janet Ray of AAA Washington, immediate past chair Monty Kilcup of GLY Construction, treasurer Lauren Thomas of Hopelink and at large member Kevin Espirito of Microsoft.

The board also elected five new members, bringing the total board to 21. The new members are Matt Bott of the Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, Kevin Henry from the City of Bellevue, Louis Mendoza of United Way and Deana Wilson from The Boeing Company. The board also elected Dana McRay as a University of Washington (UW) board fellow. McRay will start the final year of her MBA program at the UW in the fall.

The new board members join a group of Eastside leaders: Earl Bell, Amy Hedin, John Hotta, Laurie Johnson, Holly Koelling, Dan Leahy, Stuart Linscott, Jane Mounsey, Mike Nesteroff, Lourdes Salazar and Keri Stout.

LE informs, equips and connects community leaders to meet the community’s greatest needs through its State of the Eastside forums, the LE three-year Adaptive Leadership Development Program and a network of people and organizations who make a difference on the Eastside.
