Lehtinen’s case setting hearing continued to Aug. 21

Eric Emil Lehtinen, a 37-year-old Redmond resident who is accused of injecting his 4-year-old son with heroin, had his July 15 case setting hearing continued to Aug. 21, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s office press secretary.

Lehtinen pleaded not guilty to the charge of first-degree attempted murder at his arraignment on Oct. 10, 2013 at the King County Courthouse in Seattle.

Lehtinen’s son was released from Seattle Children’s Hospital in October.

The man remains in the King County Jail in Seattle with bail set at $3 million. If convicted, he could face at least 15 years in prison.
