Longtime Eastside resident, business developer to speak at Redmond Historical Society meeting

Longtime Eastside resident and successful business developer Kemper Freeman, Jr. will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Redmond Historical Society. The free presentation will run from 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 8 in the auditorium of the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 NE 80th St.

The free presentation will run from 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 8 in the auditorium of the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 NE 80th St.

Freeman will shares stories of growing up in what is now Marymoor Park, where he and his sister raised cattle.

Also, the Redmond Historical Society will conduct walking tours of historic downtown Redmond on May 16, June 20 and Sept. 19. An $8 fee funds further research into Redmond’s colorful past.
