Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Walk for Wishes comes to Marymoor Park Aug. 15

Hundreds of people will put on their walking shoes and head to King County's Marymoor Park in Redmond this Sunday, Aug. 15 in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and its second annual Walk for Wishes. This family-friendly 5K walk will raise funds and awareness for the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Hundreds of people will put on their walking shoes and head to King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond this Sunday, Aug. 15 in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and its second annual Walk for Wishes.

This family-friendly 5K walk will raise funds and awareness for the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Registration and check-in will begin at 8:45 a.m., followed by the walk at 9:30 a.m. The event concludes at noon. Participants are asked to register online before the event at www.northwestwishes.org but walk-up registration will also be accepted.

Breakfast and lunch for participants will be provided, as well as children’s activities and entertainment. 2010 Walk for Wishes sponsors include Alaska Airlines, Royal Caribbean International, Nintendo and 100.7 The Wolf, as well as Russell Investments, La Quinta Inns and Suites, Banner Bank, BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, Coyote Rock Waterfront Living, CARSTAR and Flying Saucer Pizza.
