Suspicious circumstance: Redmond police responded to a car prowl complaint at 9:38 p.m. in the 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway downtown. Nothing was taken from the vehicle and it is unknown if a prowl was actually attempted and/or completed.
Trespass: Redmond police issued a trespass notice at 9:19 p.m. at a restaurant in the 2300 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Overlake.
Theft: Redmond police took a report at 11:19 a.m. from an Education Hill man who said his license plate had been stolen several weeks prior and replaced with the license plate from a stolen car.
Possession: Redmond police responded to an alarm at a construction site at 8:19 a.m. in the 8300 block of 158th Avenue Northeast downtown. One male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Saturday, Aug. 24
Vandalism: Redmond police took a report of a car being keyed at 7:58 p.m. in the 6800 block of 142nd Court Northeast in Grass Lawn. There is no suspect information at this time.
Theft: Redmond Police investigated a car prowl at 4:05 p.m. at Willows Run golf course. There is no suspect information at this time.
Theft: Redmond police responded to a car theft at 12:10 a.m. in the 8700 block of 160th Avenue Northeast on Education Hill. An unknown suspect stole a Kindle Fire from an unsecured vehicle.
Friday, Aug. 23
Shoplifting: Redmond police investigated a reported shoplift at 3:30 p.m. at a business in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Overlake.
Malicious mischief: Redmond police arrested an adult male for damaging city property at 10:49 a.m. at Northeast 85th Street and 160th Avenue Northeast downtown.
Stolen vehicle found: Redmond police took a report at 7:55 a.m. of a stolen vehicle out of Seattle being recovered in the 7600 block of 147th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn.
