Sunday, August 1

Theft: A license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 9200 block of 171st Avenue Northeast.

Vandalism: Redmond police took a report of vandalism to a mailbox to a residence in the 11200 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast.

Saturday, June 31

DUI: Redmond police arrested a 27-year-old Kirkland man for investigation of DUI in the 3600 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Assault: A 35-year-old Redmond man was arrested in the 16600 block of Northeast 92nd Street for threatening his roommate with a gun following an argument.

Theft: A man who lives in the 18100 block of Northeast 95th Street reported that his vehicle was stolen from his apartment complex sometime overnight.

Friday, June 30

Car prowls: There were two reports of car prowls at a gym in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast at around 6:40 p.m. In both incidents, vehicle windows were smashed. There was nothing taken from one vehicle and in the other car prowl a bag was stolen.

Thursday, June 29

Open and closed case: A 50-year-old Redmond man was arrested after he was found with an open container of alcohol at the transit center in the 8100 block of 161st Avenue Northeast.

Vandalism: The letters on the reader board of an elementary school in the 17000 block of Northeast 104th Street were changed to read some inappropriate, offensive words. The Lake Washington School District staff was notified and the words were removed from the board.

Wednesday, June 28

Drugs: A Kirkland man was stopped for a traffic infraction in the 13200 block of Redmond Way and then arrested for marijuana possession.

Dishonest roommate: A woman who lives in the 9300 block of Avondale Road reported that her roommate was withdrawing money from her account without her permission.

Identity theft: A woman who lives in the 16100 block of Northeast 99th Street reported that her e-mail account was hacked and is being used in a scam.

Tuesday, June 27

DUI: Redmond police arrested a 27-year-old Everett man at around 1 a.m. for investigation of DUI near Redmond Way and West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Floored: A man who lives in the 15600 block of Northeast 56th Way reported that five boxes of hardwood flooring was stolen from his home, which is under construction.

Monday, June 26

Not so fast: Redmond police arrested a 31-year-old Woodinville man and a 43-year-old at around 12:40 a.m. for investigation of DUI when the two tried to race away from officers, who attempted to stop them for Reckless Driving.

Theft: A woman’s wallet was stolen from her purse while she was shopping a grocery store in the 15900 block of Redmond Way.

Purse snatcher: An unknown suspect stole a woman’s purse from a cabinet inside a hair salon in the 17100 block of Redmond Way.

Car prowl: A bag containing a blank firing pistol was stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot near Northeast 65th Street and East Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Car prowl: A man who lives in the 11300 block of 171st Place Northeast reported that someone stole three Zune music players and a pair of prescription sunglasses from his vehicle.

Trespassing: A transient 30-year-old man was arrested for trespassing on private property in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road.

Burglary: Redmond police investigated a burglary at a convenience store in 16900 block of Redmond Way at around 4:20 a.m. Someone threw a rock through the glass doors and stole some cigarettes.

Theft: Two wheels were stolen from a parked vehicle in the 2600 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast at around 11 p.m.

Car prowl: A computer and other miscellaneous items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 15800 block of Northeast 111th Street.

Friday, June 23

DUI: Redmond police arrested a 21-year-old Redmond woman for investigation of DUI in the 12000 block of Red-Wood Road.

Bad vibes: An apartment renter in the 18700 block of Northeast 60th Way reported suspicious activity at the apartment complex.

Domestic assault: A 36-year-old Redmond man was arrested for investigation of Domestic Violence, Fourth Degree, after Redmond police responded to a domestic violence incident between a husband and wife in the 18600 block of Redmond Way.

Lock up: An iPod was stolen from a unlocked vehicle in the 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway.
