Drugs offense: Redmond police took a drugs-offense report at 9:27 p.m. in the 16000 block of Redmond Way. Officers detained a woman inside a vehicle for possessing drug paraphernalia.

Monday, Dec. 19

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report at 11:13 a.m. in the 5400 block of 187th Avenue Northeast. Someone damaged a mailbox and stole a book and other mail.

Sunday, Dec. 18

Malicious mischief: Redmond police took malicious-mischief report at 8:49 a.m. at Farrel-McWhirter Park in the 19500 block of Redmond Road. Someone reported damage to the bunny hutch.

Saturday, Dec. 17

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 2:43 p.m. in the 10900 block of 158th Court Northeast. Someone stole a backpack and purse from an unlocked van overnight.

Friday, Dec. 16

Burglary: Redmond police took a burglary report at 2:51 p.m. in the 8700 block of Willows Road Northeast. A woman attempted to break into a storage unit.

Thursday, Dec. 15

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 12:42 p.m. in the 14500 block of Northeast 87th Street. One male contacted another male on OfferUp and they met at a store to conduct a transaction. The buyer gave the seller $300 for a phone, and the seller snatched the money and phone and ran off.

Wednesday, Dec. 14

Disturbance: Redmond police took a disturbance report at 5:20 p.m. in the 16500 block of Redmond Way. Officers assisted an individual who was creating a disturbance near a studio, yelling, with rubberbands on his arms. Medics provided assistance and he was transported for special care.
