Ming’s Gallery has moved to Redmond Town Center (7225 170th Ave. N.E.).

This is the gallery’s fifth location in its 49 years. Ming’s is the largest direct importer in the Pacific Northwest of art, fine furniture and antiques.

Representing nine countries and offering a perspective on the people and cultures throughout Asia, the new location showcases objects of art from Cambodia, Thailand, India, Japan, Burma, Korea, Mongolia, China and Tibet.

As the gallery enters this new phase, they will increase the exhibitions and lectures of Asian art to increase public awareness of the artists and craftsmen from the remote regions of Asia.

Ming’s opening will feature “Art in Miniature,” highlighting fine quality Japanese Inro and Netsuke. This large representation of miniature wood, ivory, mineral/metal carvings and castings covers the 18th through 20th centuries.
