Redmond police officers were dispatched to a movie theater on April 23 in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast to contact an assault victim.

At about 5:24 p.m., the manager reported that he observed a male inside the business watching a movie that he didn’t pay for, and the suspect was told to leave. As he was being escorted out, the suspect slapped the victim in the side of the head, forcing his head into a door.

The victim received minor injuries and the suspect fled on foot and wasn’t located.
