Murray, Vance to debate at Microsoft on Sunday

U.S. Senate candidates Patty Murray and Chris Vance will debate at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Microsoft Conference Center (Building 33, Kodiak Auditorium), 16070 N.E. 36th Way in Redmond. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Washington State Debate Coalition, founded by Seattle CityClub, will present the free public event.

Austin Jenkins (Northwest News Network) will moderate the debate, which will feature a panel of community members: Kate Hall (Pacific Lutheran University student), Dave Ross (KIRO Radio 97.3 FM) and Melissa Santos (The News Tribune).

The debate will feature a traditional format. Prior to the debate, guests will have the opportunity to submit questions online that may be asked by the panel during the live debate.

Broadcasting stations include C-SPAN, KING 5, KIRO Radio, KIRO 7, KOMO 4, KUOW, NW Cable News and TVW.

Parking is available in parking garages below and adjacent to the Microsoft Conference Center (Building 33).
