It’s time to make plans to give crooks a going away party.

On Tuesday, August 5 from 6-10 p.m. Redmond will be participating in the 25th Annual National Night Out against crime. This is a great opportunity for you to gather those in your neighborhood, build community, and take a stand against crime.

All over the country there will be thousands of crime prevention block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, and dessert parties. Get your neighborhood involved and receive a visit from special guests who will be visiting various parties throughout the city including police officers, police K-9 team, McGruff the crime dog, firefighters, Mayor John Marchione, City Council members, and more.

National sponsor Target will also be sending employees to various events.

Information needed includes:

1. Contact person, address, email, and phone number

3. Exact location of the event (specific address, in a cul-de-sac in front of a house, etc.)

4. Start Time

5. End Time

6. Event type (pot luck dinner, ice cream social, etc.)

7. Number of children

8. Any specific requests
