The Redmond Historical Society will meet from 10:30 a.m. to noon on April 13 at The Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 N.E. 80th St.

Kristine Leander, executive director of the Swedish Club in Seattle, will be speaking on “Nordics in the Northwest.” She will describe stages of immigration from Scandinavian countries to the Pacific Northwest, from the late 1800s to the present. She will bring an alphabetical listing of the visitors’ sign-in log from the Swedish building at the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, Seattle, in 1909, an opportunity for attendees to look for their relatives’ signatures.
