Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 7:29 a.m. in the 17500 block of Northeast 88th Place. A suspect attempted to cash a check that was stolen from a resident’s mailbox.

Monday, April 18

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 1:49 p.m. in the 16600 block of Northeast 80th Street. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into an electronics control room at an apartment complex. Minor damage was found on the door.

Sunday, April 17

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 6:37 p.m. in the 16800 block of Redmond Way. Officers arrested a disorderly person after there were reported complaints of the person throwing things and barking at employees. While being detained, the individual resisted, tried to bite the officer and was later provided with medical assistance.

Trespassing: Redmond police arrested a trespasser at 2:02 p.m. at the library in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street.

Handgun: Redmond police took a report of a subject brandishing a handgun at 3:52 p.m. during a road-rage incident near a shopping center in the 17200 block of Redmond Way.

ID theft: Redmond police took an ID theft report at 8:37 a.m. in the 18100 block of Northeast 30th Street. The complainant reported being a victim of tax fraud when a resident attempted to file her taxes and was told they had already been filed.

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 7:01 a.m. in the 16500 block of Northeast 95th Street. A resident reported that two apple trees were stolen from her front yard.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 8:51 a.m. in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. Officers responded to a car prowl with the front right door window smashed. A cell phone and charger were stolen.

Wednesday, April 13

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 12:15 a.m. in the 11500 block of 167th Place Northeast. Entry was made by breaking a basement window, and someone broke into a safe in the garage.
