Tuesday, Nov. 8

Malicious mischief: Redmond police took a malicious-mischief report at 2:59 p.m. in the 18300 block of Northeast 76th Street. Someone from a business reported their fence had been cut open.

Monday, Nov. 7

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 4:20 p.m. in the 6500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. A man reported someone stole several boxes of lights from his home.

Sunday, Nov. 6

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report at 8:32 a.m. in the 11100 block of 156th Place Northeast. A neighbor found another resident’s opened mail discarded in her yard.

Saturday, Nov. 5

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 10:58 a.m. in the 15700 block of Redmond Way. A woman was detained for shoplifting $130 in craft items from a business.

Friday, Nov. 4

Theft: Redmond police responded to a grocery store at 1:43 p.m. in the 17900 block of Redmond Way when an employee reported that someone stole his white mountain bike.

Thursday, Nov. 3

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 3:21 p.m. at the intersection of 166th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 72nd Way. Officers arrested a 42 year-old man for assault. Witnesses reported that the man was walking near a Microsoft commuter bus, grabbed the driver through the window, tried to enter the vehicle and then struck him in the face. A bystander called 911, and was then struck and bit by the suspect. The bystander restrained the suspect until police arrived.
