Traffic collision: Redmond police investigated a non-injury minor traffic collision at 1:01 p.m. at the intersection of Redmond Way and 148th Avenue Northeast.

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 9:10 p.m. in the 14100 block of Northeast 71st Place. A male reported that another male hit him in the face and demanded money. The victim and victim’s friend know the suspect, who officers soon contacted.

Assault: Redmond police took an assault report at 7:33 p.m. in the 18300 block of Northeast 98th Way. A female neighbor reported that another female neighbor struck her in the face over a disagreement.

Shoplifting: Redmond police arrested a shoplifter at 2:37 p.m. at a business in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. The man was also in possession of suspected heroin and property belonging to other persons.

Counterfeiting: Redmond police took a counterfeiting report at 9:51 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. A suspect purchased a phone with counterfeit bills, was suspected of shoplifting and was arrested.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a building at 3:25 p.m. in the 9900 block of Willows Road. A juvenile was charged with stealing a laptop.

Assault: Redmond police responded to an assault report at 6:39 p.m. of a male punching another male at the library in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street.
