You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took a mail-theft report at 8:20 p.m. in the 14800 block of Redmond Way.

Monday, Dec. 1

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 6:14 p.m. in the 6400 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway.

Theft: Redmond police took an automobile-theft report at 7:53 a.m. in the 10200 block of 136th Avenue Northeast.

Assault: Redmond police responded to the report of an assault with a knife at 3 a.m. in the 17200 block of Northeast 85th Street. The reporting party, a 38-year-old male, told police his friend, a 44-year-old male, had held a knife to his throat. The two men and the reporting party’s girlfriend had been drinking while waiting for a cab. When the cab arrived, the 44-year old male grabbed the knife and held it up to the reporting party; the girlfriend had passed out from drinking alcohol. The 44-year-old has a criminal history and was arrested for first-degree assault by a team of Redmond police officers. The reporting party was uninjured.

Vandalism: Redmond police took a vandalism report at 7:49 p.m. in the 13500 block of Northeast 70th Street.

Saturday, Nov. 29

Traffic collision: At approximately 4 p.m., Redmond police responded to the report of a vehicle that struck a light pole near the westbound State Route 520 onramp. No parties, including several witnesses and the subject, were injured as a result of the crash. The 70-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI after she failed voluntary standard field sobriety tests.

Friday, Nov. 28

Burglary: Redmond police investigated a residential burglary at 3:35 p.m. in the 6300 block of 138th Avenue Northeast.

Burglary: Redmond police investigated a non-residential burglary at 1:05 p.m. in the 16100 block of Cleveland Street.

Thursday, Nov. 27

Assault: Redmond police responded to the report of an assault at 10:55 p.m. in the 6200 block of 154th Avenue Northeast. A 48-year-old woman was assaulted by her 43-year-old on-again/off-again boyfriend. The reporting party, the victim’s son, found the male choking his mother. The victim’s son and the suspect then wrestled on the ground before the suspect fled. After a police search was conducted, the suspect was found under a mattress inside a nearby residence and arrested for second-degree assault and obstructing a public officer.

Wednesday, Nov. 26

Traffic collision: Redmond police responded to the report of a traffic collision injury at 7:31 p.m. at the intersection of Avondale Road and 182nd Avenue Northeast. The driver of a Honda Accord hit the rear of another vehicle, pushing it into a pick-up. Involved parties experienced minor injuries.

Shoplifting: Redmond police took two shoplifting reports at 6:06 p.m. in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road and at 10:30 a.m. in the 15200 block of Northeast 24th Street.

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 3:20 p.m. in the 8400 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast.

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police took two mail-theft reports at 2:41 p.m. in the 18200 block of Northeast 109th Street and at 12:39 p.m. in the 17000 block of Northeast 88th Street.

Monday, Nov. 24

Automobile theft: Redmond police took an automobile-theft report at 11:31 p.m. in the 8300 block of 167th Avenue Northeast.

Controlled substances: Redmond police took a report of a person violating the controlled substances act at 11:07 p.m. at the intersection of 164th Avenue Northeast and Redmond Way.

Vandalism: Redmond police took a vandalism report at 12:11 p.m. in the 18300 block of Northeast 98th Way.

Fraud: Redmond police took a fraud report at 10:04 a.m. in the 15800 block of Redmond Way.

Theft from building: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a building at 9:41 a.m. in the 15600 block of Northeast 40th Street.

Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 9:17 a.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street.
