Monday, June 8 Theft: Redmond police took a pick-pocket report at 7:11 p.m. in the 2100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. Someone stole sunglasses out of the victim's purse while she was shopping.

Theft: Redmond police took a pick-pocket report at 7:11 p.m. in the 2100 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. Someone stole sunglasses out of the victim’s purse while she was shopping.

Attempted burglary: Redmond police took a report of an attempted residential burglary at 12:01 p.m. in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast. A suspect tried to take a screen off an apartment window to gain access, but failed.

Saturday, June 6

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 2:37 a.m. in the 4300 block of 150th Avenue Northeast. A worker failed to return a company vehicle and didn’t return the employer’s phone calls. The vehicle was located at the employee’s residence and returned to the employer.

Friday, June 5

Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 7:19 p.m. in the 7400 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. Two suspects shoplifted eight Polo shirts valued at $600 from a store in Redmond Town Center and fled in an unknown Sedan.

Traffic collision: Redmond police investigated a non-injury traffic collision at 5:36 p.m. at the intersection of West Lake Sammamish Parkway and Northeast 51st Street. Following the two-car, rear-end collision, one driver was cited for inattentive driving.

Thursday, June 4

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 12:59 p.m. in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. A 1987 GMC truck was stolen from the parking lot when keys were left in vehicle.

ID theft: Redmond police took an ID theft report at 11:50 a.m. in the 6500 block of 159th Avenue Northeast. Unknown persons opened fraudulent accounts in the victim’s name. The victim discovered the fraud when she was contacted by a collection agency.

Wednesday, June 3

Vandalism: Redmond police took a vandalism report at 11:42 a.m. in the 17100 block of Avondale Way. Someone smashed a vehicle window and nothing was taken.

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 5:12 p.m. in the 67000 block of 143rd Avenue Northeast. Jewelry, a case and other valuables were taken.
