Shoplifting: Redmond police took a shoplifting report at 6:50 p.m. in the 17700 block of Northeast 76th Street. Officers arrested a man who was then transported for an existing warrant.

Monday, June 20

Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 7:14 p.m. in the 6000 block of 189th Place Northeast. A woman reported someone came through her back window sometime while she was on vacation.

Sunday, June 19

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 5:18 p.m. in the 11500 block of Avondale Road. The car prowl involved a smashed window and a stolen purse from the front passenger seat.

Saturday, June 18

Trespassing: Redmond police took a trespassing report at 8:18 a.m. in the 15900 block of Northeast 85th Street. Officers issued two criminal trespass letters at the property owner’s request.

Friday, June 17

Robbery: Redmond police took a robbery report at 6:27 p.m. in the 11600 block of Red-Wood Road. Officers responded when a woman reported that while waiting at the bus stop on the east side of Red-Wood Road and 116th Avenue Northeast, a man grabbed her from behind and said “give me your purse.” A scuffle ensued and he ran off. There were no weapons seen or implied. The woman was shaken, but not injured.

Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle at 6:36 a.m. in the 5000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. A vehicle was taken from a business parking lot in the early morning hours.
