Tuesday, Aug. 4
Burglary: Redmond police took a residential-burglary report at 4:52 p.m. in the 4300 block of 156th Avenue Northeast.
Theft: Redmond police took a theft report at 1:20 p.m. in the 2200 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast.
Monday, Aug. 3
Theft: Redmond police responded to a call of a car prowl at 5:47 p.m. in the 15700 block of Bear Creek Parkway. The prowl happened the previous night and the resident noticed later in the day that tools were missing from a van.
Fraud: Redmond police responded to a fraud report at 1:08 p.m. in the 2800 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. The complainant was notified by Nordstroms in another state that an account had been set up in his name and purchases were attempted. The individual is unsure how his personal information was obtained.
Sunday, Aug. 2
Trespassing: Neighbors reported to Redmond police possible unauthorized squatters in an abandoned house at 5:49 p.m. in the 7000 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast. Police made contact with two individuals who did appear to be living in the garage. The were moved to a helping agency property.
Theft: Redmond police took reports of car prowls into two cars at the same property at 12:53 p.m. in the 7600 block of 141st Avenue Northeast. Both vehicles were unlocked, one in the driveway and one parked on the street. Suspects entered both and removed a car charger, a gas card and keys from one vehicle.
Saturday, Aug. 1
Found it: Redmond police recovered a stolen vehicle at 2:19 p.m. in the 7300 block of Northeast 45th Street. The vehicle was abandoned, had some exterior damage, was missing taillights and appeared to have been rummaged through.
Theft: Redmond police responded to a car prowl in which miscellaneous items were removed at 11:10 a.m. in the 17300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway. The complainant said the doors were unlocked and windows were partially open.
Friday, July 31
Vandalism: Redmond police responded to a vandalism report at 9:13 p.m. in the 8300 block of 167th Avenue Northeast. The resident reported four tires being slashed on their car as a result of a domestic issue.
Assault: Redmond police responded to a report of a recent verbal argument between neighbors at 1:34 p.m. in the 8800 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. One neighbor stated that they were struck in the face, and a minor injury was visible.
Thursday, July 30
Theft: Redmond police took a report of a theft from a building at 7:08 p.m. in the 7900 block of 178th Place Northeast. The caller reported a cell phone, wallet and keys were stolen from inside a business.
Burglary: Redmond police responded to residential burglary at 9:44 a.m. in the 8000 block of 172nd Avenue Northeast. The homeowner stated they left the garage door open at night, and in the morning noticed their car’s glove box was open and several tools had been taken from the garage.
Wednesday, July 29
Assault: A caller reported to Redmond police at 3:50 p.m. that a dispute happened two days prior in the 13400 block of Northeast 93rd Street involving a domestic argument and a slap across the face. There were no weapons involved and no major injuries reported.
Fraud: A person visiting Redmond entered the police department at 12:21 p.m. to report that a personal credit card was used to make an unknown purchase in another state. The individual was unclear how the credit card information was obtained.
