Sunday, Sept. 22

Welfare check: Redmond police conducted a welfare check on a juvenile at 7:28 p.m. from the 2400 block of 178th Avenue Northeast in Overlake.

Theft: Officers investigated a theft report at 2:49 p.m. from the 16400 block of Northeast 74th Street downtown.

Vehicle prowl: It was reported at 1:03 p.m. that a vehicle had been prowled at an apartment complex in the 17700 block of Northeast 90th Street on Education Hill.

Saturday, Sept. 21

You’ve got no mail: Redmond police responded to a mail theft at 2:48 p.m. from an apartment complex in the 6300 block of 187th Place Northeast downtown.

Fraud: Officers investigated a fraud report at 1:10 p.m. from the 18600 block of Redmond Way downtown.

Burglary: Police responded to a burglary at 8:18 a.m. that occurred at a business in the 2000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Overlake. An investigation is pending.

Friday, Sept. 20

Vandalism: Redmond police took the report of vandalism to a vehicle at 6:27 p.m. from the 15700 block of Northeast 56th Way of Grass Lawn.

Agency assistance: Officers assisted in identifying a suspect of a vehicle prowl at 1:40 p.m. that occurred in another jurisdiction.

Suspicious circumstance: Redmond police responded to a report at 11:51 a.m. of a possible situation at an adult care facility in the 6600 block of 146th Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn. There was no abuse or foul play detected.

Stolen vehicle recovery: A vehicle stolen out of Redmond was recovered in Tukwila at 10:45 a.m.

Possession: Redmond police responded to a mail distribution center in the 18000 block of Union Hill road downtown at 12:18 a.m. and confiscated a package containing narcotics.

Thursday, Sept. 19

Agency assistance: Bellevue police requested Redmond’s K-9 unit at 11:24 p.m. to sniff the exterior of a vehicle in the 2000 block of 148th Avenue Northeast that was seized during an ongoing investigation.

Burglary: A report was taken at 9:29 p.m. for a prior burglary in the 6300 block of 152nd Avenue Northeast in Grass Lawn.

Disorderly conduct: At 9:04 p.m., an officer responded to the 2300 block of 148th Avenue Northeast in Overlake for a fight disturbance where numerous males were engaged in a fist fight. It later turned out to be play boxing and everyone involved knew each other.

Fraud: At 9:57 a.m., Redmond police took the report of attempted fraud from the 2600 block of 174th Avenue Northeast in Overlake. The suspect impersonated victim’s grandson, requesting bail money be wired to his location.

Vehicle prowl: A resident in the 16400 block of Northeast 50th Way in Overlake contacted police at 7:42 a.m. to report an unknown suspect had broken the driver’s window and stolen an item from within the vehicle.
