Redmond Police Department responded to a call of a possible explosive device, closing down 178th Place Northeast between Northeast 76th Street and Union Hill Road for part of the afternoon, Monday, June 8.
Now the device has been determined to be harmless. The person involved is also in custody, according to Redmond police, and being connected with mental health professionals.
Bellevue Police Department bomb squad investigated the device.
Correction: An earlier version of this article stated the area to avoid was 176th Place Northeast, not 178th. It has since been updated.
