Fairwinds-Redmond Retirement Community at 9988 Avondale Rd. N.E. in Redmond will be holding a pet photo shoot on Nov. 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

There is a suggested donation of $10 as the shoot will benefit the Old Dog Haven Refuge, a small nonprofit that provides homes for abandoned senior dogs through a network of foster homes throughout the Puget Sound area.

Owners are encouraged to dress up and their pets up for the occasion. There will be a professional photographer and Santa Claus will be on hand as well as a variety of vendors to help with holiday gift shopping.
