Wednesday, Aug. 26

Vandalism: A victim’s vehicle was vandalized in the middle of the night in the 10600 block of 176th Court Northeast.

Lock it or lose it: Unknown suspect(s) stole a company laptop from an unlocked car in the 5600 block of 159th Place Northeast.

Another victim in the 16000 block of Northeast 57th Street said his unlocked car, parked in his driveway, was prowled and his garage door opener was stolen. He heard the garage door opener activate, but it appears the suspect(s) did not enter the garage. In another incident involving an unlocked car, about $10 in change was taken from a vehicle in the 16300 block of Northeast 50th Street.

Kidnapping call: Redmond Police responded to a kidnapping call at an apartment complex in the 9800 block of Avondale Road. This investigation is ongoing.

Domestic violence: An adult female assaulted her husband in the 17800 block of Northeast 33rd Street. She was taken into custody and booked into jail.

Tuesday, Aug. 25

Underage drinking: A Redmond male was arrested for Minor-in-Possession/Minor-in-Consumption of alcohol, in the 9400 block of Avondale Road.

Monday, Aug. 24

Auto theft: A complainant reported a company van from ABODA Cleaning Services stolen from the business lot in the 9300 block of 151st Avenue Northeast, sometime over the week.

Identity theft: Redmond Police responded to a fraud complaint in the Education Hill district.

Sleazy shopper: An adult male asked lewd questions to juvenile girls while in a department store in the 17600 block of Union Hill Road.

Assault: A 74-year-old disabled female told a reporting party that her son’s girlfriend had pushed her down a few times, in the 8800 block of Avondale Road.

Sunday, Aug. 23

Theft: A victim in the 2500 block of 152nd Avenue befriended a recovering drug addict who stole a jacket and sweater from him.

Suspicious circumstance: Redmond Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle following another vehicle in a parking lot in the 7500 block of 166th Avenue Northeast. The suspect and suspect vehicle can be described.

Saturday, Aug. 22

Car prowls: Numerous car prowls were reported near Leary Way and West Lake Sammamish Parkway, the 5500 block of 158th Place Northeast, the 10800 block of 180th Court Northeast, the 18600 block of Northeast 62nd Court and 10800 block of 179th Court Northeast.

Domestic violence: Redmond Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 17100 block of Northeast 80th Street. The suspect was arrested and booked.

DUI: Redmond Police arrested an adult male for DUI at Northeast 10th Place and 148th Avenue Northeast.

Friday, Aug. 21

Out of touch: A man reported his cell phone stolen from his workplace in the 11500 block of Avondale Road.

Assault: A juvenile male assaulted an adult male in the parking lot of a store in the 11400 block of Avondale Road. The juvenile fled on foot to a nearby trailer park. The suspect has been identified and charged with assault, fourth degree.

Beer buzz: A white male entered a store in the 8800 block of 161st Avenue Northeast and took a six-pack of beer from a display in front of the store. No suspect information is available.

Thursday, Aug. 20

Double trouble: A Redmond resident reported his vehicle prowled two nights in a row while parked at his apartment complex in the 8500 block of 148th Avenue Northeast. The victim’s GPS unit was stolen during the first prowl and cash was taken the second night.

Phone threats: Redmond Police responded to a report of threats being made, primarily over the phone, to a person in the 10900 block of 156th Place Northeast. A suspect was named but no one was arrested.

Domestic disturbance: Police investigated a report of a disturbance involving a husband and wife in the 17600 block of Northeast 33rd Place.
