Wednesday, June 3

Theft: A man reported that two former renters stole several items from his property in the 2300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway before they moved out.

Reckless burning: Two suspects lit a wood fence on fire in the 100 block of Northeast 77th Street and then ran away. Two witnesses stopped and put out the fire before Redmond firefighters arrived.

Tuesday, June 2

Caught on tape: An employee from a department store in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast was caught on a surveillance camera taking money out of a coat in the employee’s locker room. The suspect admitted to prior reported thefts from the store, was arrested and later released.

Monday, June 1

Tailgate bandit on the loose: A man who lives in the 4100 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway reported that someone stole the tailgate off of his truck.

Power outage: Power tools were stolen from a construction site in the 10300 block of 156th Place Northeast.

Cell phone theft: A man who lives in the 17200 block of Northeast 104th Street reported that his cell phone was stolen.

Drugs: A resident who lives in the 18700 block of Northeast 59th Circle reported that his next door neighbor has been selling drugs from his apartment.

Theft: Redmond Police arrested a suspect in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast for shoplifting.

Friday, May 29

Gas guzzler: Redmond Police received a report that a woman drove away from a gas station in the 1600 block of Redmond Way with the gas hose still attached to her vehicle.
