Weed walker: A Seattle man was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after a police officer stopped him for walking down the middle of Old Redmond Road near 140th Avenue Northeast.

Wednesday, July 1

No return: A man was arrested for theft at a grocery store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way after he tried to return merchandise he did not pay for.

Tuesday, June 30

Alcohol offense: A Shoreline minor was arrested in the 2400 block of 148th Avenue Northeast after Redmond Police stopped her for jaywalking and discovered she was under the influence of alcohol and possessed drug paraphernalia.

Beer theft: A suspect stole beer from a store in the 17200 block of Redmond Way and took off in a vehicle.

Monday, June 29

Shoplifting: A Bellevue resident was detained by a department store loss prevention employee for trying to steal merchandise from the store, which is located in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast.

Honesty is the best policy: Redmond Police arrested a man for a license violation and providing false statements to officers on the State Route 520 eastbound bypass to Northeast 51st Street. A fingerprint identification showed that the man was a person of interest for immigration violations.

Theft: A woman reported that her identification and driver’s license were stolen during a party in the 8700 block of 160th Avenue Northeast.

Saturday, June 27

Busted with the bike: Redmond Police arrested a suspect for stealing a bicycle from a business in the 16100 block of Northeast 85th Street. He was found about an hour after he stole the bike around 1 a.m.

Friday, June 26

Identity theft: A resident who lives in the 18200 block of Northeast 24th Street reported that his credit card number was used for online purchases in Toronto, Canada. The victim has been reimbursed by his bank.

Thursday, June 25

Car theft: A resident who lives in the 11600 block of Willows Road reported that his vehicle was stolen from his driveway in the middle of the night.

Forgery: A man who lives in the 8900 block of Red-Wood Road reported that his son took a blank check and wrote it out to cash.
